Nancy L. Meyers, 77, of 16 W. Center St Ashland. passed away Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at Leheigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown, PA.
Born in Helfenstein, PA Nov. 11,1934 she was the daughter of the late Emerson
(Duster) and Mary (Chubb) Lute. She was a member of Zion's Reformed UCC ,
Ashland,PA where she was a member of the church choir Graduated from Ashland High School; helped with Meals on Wheels and helped with the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
Preceding her in death were her husband Raymond Meyers in 1991 to whom she married on July 18,1959.
Surviving are her daughter Deborah Misunas of Frackville,PA and her companion Edward Hayes of Hazleton,PA. Son in Law Albert Misunas preceded her in death in 2008 .
Four sisters three brothers survive: Arlene Chillis of Ashland,PA., Virginia Barkanski of Frackville,PA., Lois wife of William Casey of Brandonville,PA., Ada Jackowiak of Gilberton,PA.
Brother(s): Carl husband of Pearl Lute of Kulpmont,PA., Ted husband of Jean Ann Lute of Gordon,PA., Terry husband of Carol Lute of Ashland,PA.
A brother James preceded her in death and his wife Carol Meyers,Montoursville,PA
survives. Many nieces and nephews survive .
Funeral services will be held in Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 21st, with Rev. David Grant officiating.
Interment at St. Mauritius Cemetery, Ashland,PA .
Visitation Tuesday 6:00-8:00 PM. at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland and
Wednesday 10:00-11:00 AM in Zion's Reformed UCC, Ashland, PA .
