Obituary for Francis J. Kleman

Francis J. Kleman, 85, of Ashland passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2017 surrounded by family.
Born in Ashland, Pa June 12, 1932 the son of the late William and Sadie ( Casey) Kleman. He was a graduate of Ashland High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
On December 21, 1960 he married Margaret "Peg" Hebert Kleman. He was employed by Rockwell International, Reading and Cheri-Lee Explosives, Kulpmont. Together with his wife they ran Kleman's Rock Shop in Ashland for many years.
He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland. Along with his wife he ran bingo at the Higher Ups Park and the Fountain Springs Fire Company.
Surviving are a son, James (Joan) of Locustdale; two daughters, Patti (Dean) Borger of Harrisburg and Theresa Urbanek of Saint Clair.
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Amy (Scott) Palubinsky; Alecia (Christian) Duff; Jesse Dembinsky, Dean (Alicia) Borger, Jr.; Brian Kleman and Kim Dembinsky. 8 great grandchildren: Aubrianna, Juliet, Jesse, Jackson, Thomas, Carter, Jade, and Jordan. A niece, Carol and a nephew, Ronny.
Francis was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, a sister Gert Smith, a brother William Kleman, a granddaughter Nastassja and son-in-law Andy Urbanek.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 Frack St., Frackville, PA 17931
