Obituary for Hazel Neida Paul (Lindenmuth)

Hazel Neida Lindenmuth Paul, 96, formerly of Lavelle, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at The Gardens at York Terrace (formerly Golden Living) Pottsville, PA. Born on April 20, 1920 in Ashland, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Lily (Huntsinger) Lindenmuth. She attended Ashland Area Schools. On April 19, 1941 she married Ellis W. Paul of Lavelle, who passed away on April 12, 1990. Hazel was a former member of Christ Evangelical Church in Lavelle. She was a homemaker all of her life and loved her family and her home, gardening and walks. Hazel lived a long healthy life and she will be missed! Surviving are her son, Ellis L. Paul and his wife Anne, Ashland. Her granddaughter Rebecca Paul-Ruddock, Morton, PA. Another son, Robert E. Paul and his wife, Maryll, Stillwater, PA. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband were her siblings: Paul Lindenmuth, Verna White, Blanche Zerby, Margaret Hunter, Vivian Bechtel. Her step-mother, Pearl Maurer Lindenmuth and step-sister Elizabeth LaRue. An infant grandson, Ellis James Paul in October of 1989. Hazel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Services will be at the convenience of the family. The family requests that anyone wishing to remember Hazel with expressions of sympathy, can do so by saying a prayer for her today for a life well-lived!
