Obituary for Jeanne Bergal

Jeanne Bergal, 80, of Mt. Carmel, PA passed away Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
Born in Marian Heights February 16,1937 the daughter of the late Steve and Anna (Zvonchek) Ardan. She was an active member of St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Mt. Carmel where she was known for her work and dedication to church functions, especially making pierogies. She worked at Arcos Industries until retirement. She attended Kulpmont High School. She was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers Fan and Washington Redskins fan; She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies hater. She loved spending time arguing with her best friends Nancy & Bill Joraskie.
Surviving are a daughter and son: Deborah Haile of Columbia, Md.; and
Thomas husband of Lee Ann Bergal of Barnstable, Mass. 5 grandchildren survive:
Colton, Keaton, Bryson, Michele and Kelly. Nieces and nephews survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bergal who died in 2003, who was her lifetime sweetheart and favorite Pollack.
Also preceding her in death were six brothers, three sisters: Joseph, John, Stephen, Frank, Michael, Julius, Margaret, Anna and Evelyn.
Services will be held in St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Mt. Carmel, PA, with Rev. Michael Hutsko officiating at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Sept. 27,
2017. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp., PA.
Willard Rothermel Funeral Home, Mt. Carmel is in charge of arrangements. Ray Rothermel, Supervisor, Charles Heizenroth III, F.D.
