Obituary for John Polcovich

John Polcovich, 87, of Mt. Carmel, PA passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born January 20, 1930 in Centralia, PA the son of the late Alex and Mary (Kessock) Polcovich. John was the president in the last graduating class from the Hubert Eicher High School, Centralia in 1948. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mt. Carmel and the Wilburton Fire Co. No 1. John operated many coal/strip mines in the Mt. Carmel, Centralia area until retirement.
Preceding him in death is a brother: Alex Polcovich.
Surviving are his wife: Diane (Klisher) Polvcovich of Mt. Carmel, PA. Daughters: Jannin (Polcovich) wife of Collin Post of Colorado; Mary C. Bohay of Mt. Carmel, PA. Stepsons: H. Brian husband of Monina Hudick; Darren Hudick. Daughter-in-law: Kelly. Eight grandchildren. One great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Willard Rothermel Funeral Home, Mt. Carmel, PA with Rev. Kay Painter officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, January 29 and 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30 from the Willard Rothermel Funeral Home, Mt. Carmel. Willard Rothermel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Charles Heizenroth III, F.D. Ray Rothermel, Supervisor.
