Obituary for Mary Teresa Litchko

Mary Teresa Litchko, 78, of Ashland, PA passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 peacefully with her husband of 60 years by her side at Broad Mt. Nursing & Rehab., Frackville, PA.
Born in Centralia, PA on May 24, 1940 the daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (Washeko) McGinley.
Mary Teresa was a graduate of St. Ignatius School, Centralia and Ashland School of Nursing. She worked as a seamstress at the Centralia dress factory for many years. She was a member of the Assumption B.V.M. Church, Centralia. She enjoyed time with family and Notre Dame football.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers: Patrick, Anthony, Charles, Francis, and James McGinley.
Surviving are her husband: Wesley Litchko of Ashland, PA. Children: Teresa wife of Scott Moses of Lavelle, PA; Rosemary wife of Michael Postick of Ft. Springs, PA; Wesley husband of Rhonda Litchko of Mt. Carmel, PA; Stephen Litchko of Ashland, PA. Brother: Joseph McGinley of Kulpmont, PA. Grandchildren. Great grandsons. Nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Assumption B.V.M Church, Centralia at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 8, 2018 with Very Reverend Archpriest Michael Hutsko officiating. Interment at Assumption B.V.M Cemetery, Centralia. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday, October 7, at 6:00 PM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland. Viewing Sunday, October 7, 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday, October 8, 9:30-10:30 AM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Assumption B.V.M. Church, South Center St. Aristes, PA 17920.
