Obituary for Frank L. Knock

Frank L. Knock, 85, of Ashland, PA passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born in Ashland, PA February 6, 1932 the son of the late Harry and Gertrude (Frisch) Knock. Frank graduated from Ashland High School and worked at Goulds Pump Company for over 30 years until retirement. He was an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church serving on the Grounds Committee. He was a member of the Ashland Elks BPOE 384; Bull Run Hunting Camp,Renovo, PA and the Higher Ups Park Association. He loved to fish, hunt and loved Penn State. He was a drummer playing for various groups in the area. Preceding him in death was a brother Harry Knock.
Surviving are his wife: Margaret (Dillman) Knock. Two daughters and a son:Lisa wife of Timothy McGinley, Ashland; Beth wife of Shawn Norman, Elysburg & Rodney husband of Cindi Knock; Sunbury,PA. Six Grandchildren:Rodney Knock,Megan Benjamin, Erin McGinley, Matthew McGinleyAshley Roberts & Chase Shambach.Two Great Grandchildren: Harper and Hudson. Nieces & Nephews survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 25,2017 at 11:00 AM in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland,PA. Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA. Visitation Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North 9th St., Ashland,PA 17921. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc., Ashland is in charge.
