Agnes E. McGrath

Agnes E. McGrath, 96, passed away Monday, June 15th, 2009 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs,, PA. Born in Tremont, PA October 7, 1912 she was the daughter of the late James and Winifred (Alter) McGrath. She was a member of the the most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont where she was the church organist for many years . She graduated from Tremont High School, Kutztown University and Temple University where she earned her Masters degree. She was a school teacher at the Tremont Schools for 36 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association . Preceding her in death were four brothers , three sisters : Joseph, John , James Charles , sisters; Anna , Ruth, Mary . She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at The Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 19th, with Rev. Dominik Kalata officiating. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Tremont, PA . Visitation Friday 10:00 AM til time of Service in The Most Blessed Trinity Parish, Tremont, PA.
