Albert W. Woodward

Albert W. Woodward, 79, of Mount Carmel passed away Thursday July 20th at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville.

Born on October 17, 1943 in Mount Carmel he was the son of the late Anna (Murcavich) and William Woodward.

He attended school in Mount Carmel.

Albert was of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

He was the husband of Theresa A. (Karbley) Woodward.  They recently celebrated 58 years of marriage on July 17, 2023.

Over the years he worked in several local factories and also worked in construction.

Albert was an animal lover and a Phillies fan. His family, especially his grandchildren meant everything to him.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; brother Franklin Woodward; sister Jacqueline Woodward; sister Virginia Lindenmuth.

Surviving are wife Theresa A. Woodward, Mount Carmel; son Brian Woodward, Reading; daughter Lisa Woodward, Mount Carmel; daughter Debbie Reisinger (Thomas), Den Mar Gardens; daughter Christa Komara (Rocky), Coal Township; 4 grandchildren Camber, Joseph, Tommy & Alyssa; 1 great granddaughter Emma Rae; nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday July 28th at 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, 2320 Locust Gap Hwy, Mount Carmel PA 17851 with Rev Francis Karwacki officiating.
