Allen J. Cohoon

Allen J. Cohoon, 62, of Mount Carmel passed away Sunday morning June 25th at his home.

Born in Sunbury on February 21, 1961 he was the son of the late Sally (Klinger) and Roger A. Cohoon.

He was a graduate of Warren County Technical School.

Allen was of the Methodist faith.

He was last employed by Mattucci’s in Mount Carmel.

Allen was a lifetime member of the Clover Hose Company-Mount Carmel and VFW Post 2110-Mount Carmel.   He enjoyed watching wrestling every Monday and Friday evening with his dear friend Bud Violette.  Allen was also an Eagles and Phillies fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his uncle David Klinger.

He is survived by; sister Marjorie Heffner, Mount Carmel; niece Heather Love (Timothy), Wernersville; nephew Michael Ebling (Shannon), Reading; nephew Zack Miller (Nancy), Mount Carmel; friend Bud Violette (Deb), Mount Carmel; several great nieces & nephews.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held Friday June 30th at 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel funeral home.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel funeral home. Interment will follow services at Northumberland Memorial Park.
