Barbara G. Ortiz, 84, of Mount Carmel passed away Monday afternoon at her residence.
She was born on June 20, 1938 in Williamstown NJ and was the daughter of the late Gertrude and J. Wesley Jones Sr.
She was the wife of the late Donnie Ortiz.
She last worked at her family’s business, Jone’s Nursery in NJ.
Barbara was a Born Again Christian.
She enjoyed watching TV, spending time with family and playing cards.
In addition to her husband, Barbara is preceded in death by; son Adam Vecchio; sister Dolores Chard; brother J. Wesley Jones Jr.
She is survived by; grandson Joseph “Wes” Vecchio (Megan Bush), State College; granddaughter Barbara Vecchio (Brandy), Crystal River FL; grandson Shawn Vecchio (Danielle), Shamokin; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
