Barbara A. Yuschock, 78, of Mount Carmel passed away Wednesday afternoon July 16th at Shenandoah Senior Living.

Born in Ashland on March 6, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Kathleen (McCann) and Peter Mekosh.

Barbara was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

She graduated from Mount Carmel Area High School and from NACC with a degree in Psychology.  Barbara was a homemaker most of her life so she could raise her children.

She was the wife of the late Stephen Yuschock who passed away in 2006.

Barbara enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and her pets.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by; sister Marie Lapotsky; brother Joseph Mekosh.

Surviving are; son Stephen Yuschock (Barbie), Robesonia; daughter Shannon Sosnoski (Edward), Mount Carmel; 5 grandchildren Lauren, Branden, Blaise, Miranda & Sarah; 2 great grandchildren Ingrid & Noah; sister Stephanie Shearn (Mike), Mount Carmel; sister Sandra Edmondson (Jay), Ringtown; several nieces & nephews.

Services will be private at her family’s request.
