Bernard J. Kawa Jr.

Bernard J. Kawa Jr., 46, of 1707 Center Street Ashland. passed away Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 in Mt. Carmel, PA as a result of a motorcycle accident . Born in New Jersey May 6, 1964 he was the son Bernard husband of Barbara Kawa of Ringtown, PA and the late Eileen McDonald Kawa . He was presently employed as plumbing foreman for Penn Lyon Homes, Selingsgrove,PA where he worked for 11 years . He graduated from North Schuylkill High School and was an avid race care fan of No. 29 . He loved working around the house and was mechanical in every field . He loved spending time with his family . Surviving are his wife Cheryl (Schoffler) Kawa, Ashland and a daughter Jenna Kawa of Ashland . Surviving are one sister two brothers: Nancy Gaughan, Wilberton, PA; Brothers: Kelly Kawa, Drums, PA; and Dennis Kawa of Ringtown, PA . A brother Mark preceded him in death in 1990. One step brother three step sisters survive ; Robert Westervelt, Honolulu ; Barbara Brown, Elpaso, TX.; Anne Hughart, Pennsburg, PA and Suzanne Morrow of Cressona, PA . Nieces and Nephews survive .
