Betty Faye Brooks, 67, of 100 Walnut Street Ashland. passed away Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Reading, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA Oct. 4, 1942 she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Hossler) Dietzel. She was a member of the Grace of Carnation Church, Phila.,PA; Attended Philadelphia Schools and last worked at St. Christopher's Hospital in Phila. until her retirement. Surviving are her husband of 52 years Jonathan Brooks of Ashland. Children surviving are Nilva Lopez; Marie Hample; Linda McKreever; Jacqueline Cancellrick; Tonette Strickland; and Solomon Closson all of Philadelphia . Two brothers and one sister survive ; William and Albert Dietzel and Mildred Bossert all of Philadelphia.
