Buddie L. Hite, 62, of Atlas passed away Thursday morning January 9th at home surrounded by his family.

Born on October 13, 1962 in West Chester he was the son of Dorothea Minnick and the late Buddie L. Hite.

Buddie graduated from Weatherly High School.  He was a truck driver and was most recently employed by Penske in Highridge.

He was of the Christian faith.  Buddie enjoyed trucking, traveling, and fishing in his younger years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Ginny Hite and step father Kelly Minnick.

Buddie is survived by; mother Dorothea Minnick, SC; daughter Kathy Orfield (Robert), Atlas; son Steven Hite, GA; daughter Rachael Hite, GA; 3 grandchildren Alysia, Bryce & Kailey; 14 brothers & sisters; many cousins, nieces & nephews.

Services will be private at Buddie’s request.
