Daniel W. Kessler

Daniel W. Kessler, 82, of Gordon passed away Sunday evening at his residence.

Born in Mount Carmel he was the son of the late Dorothy A. (Long) and Norman E. Kessler.

Danny graduated from Mount Carmel High School Class of 1958.

He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-Pattersonville Congregation.

He was the husband of Linda (Flick) Kessler for over 63 years.

Danny last worked as an insurance agent for Baltimore Life Insurance in Pottsville.

Early on he enjoyed trap shooting. He shot ATA at Elysburg and Tecumseh where he won Junior Champion titles.

In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by; daughter Tamara "Tammy" Fetterolf (Greg), Lavelle; brother Robert Kessler (Carol), Elysburg; sister Virginia Obryan (Gary), Huntingdon; granddaughter Stephanie Engle, Raleigh NC; granddaughter Stacie Yocum (Matt), Castle Rock CO; 2 great grandsons Matthew & Mason; nephew Matthew Obryan (Lori), Huntingdon; niece Lisa Edwards, Huntingdon.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial funeral service on Saturday October 29th at 2 PM from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-Pattersonville Congregation, 349 Ringtown Blvd, Ringtown PA 17967. Elder Jay Spicer will officiate and broadcast via Zoom. To join the memorial talk via Zoom please call 570-900-2948 for the log in information.  Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery will be held privately at a later date.
