Darwin R. Nicholson

Darwin R. Nicholson Jr., 61, of Elysburg passed away Tuesday evening July 25th at Mountain View Nursing & Rehab Center-Coal Township.

Born on February 26, 1962 in Shamokin he was the son of the late Maryann (Ropson) and Darwin R. Nicholson Sr.

He graduated from Shamokin High School in 1980.

Darwin was of the Christian faith and attended Paxinos Bible Church.

He was the husband of Theresa A. (Harner) Nicholson.

Darwin enjoyed art, cooking, baking, flowers and gardening.

In addition to his parent’s he is preceded in death by a brother John Nicholson.

Surviving are wife Theresa A. Nicholson, Elysburg; son Isaiah Harner (Celeste), Shamokin; 4 grandchildren Rayne, MacKenly, and Jace; nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be held privately at the family’s request.
