Donald T. Felker

Donald T. Felker, 74, of 915 Walnut St. Ashland. passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 19th, 2009 at his home in Ashland . Born in Ashland, PA December 21, 1934 he was the son of the late A. Robert and Mae Spiece Felker. He was a member of Zion's Reformed UCC, Ashland . A United States Marine Veteran and serving in the Merchant Marines for ten years . Donald was a lifelong resident of Ashland graduating from Ashland High School in 1952. He was last employed for the Department of Revenue until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the American Legion Post 434, Ashland, PA ; American Hose Co., Ashland; Good Fellowship Club, Ashland and the Lost Acre Hunting Camp in Potter County, PA . Surviving are his wife Anne (Haas) Felker, Ashland ; two daughters : Donna Marie of Palmyra, PA and Jennifer wife of Craig Wagner of Ashland. A grandson Scott Wagner survives . One sister, one brother survive : Fay wife of Carl Maurer of Hatboro,PA. and Wayne Felker of Summit Hill, PA. Sister in law Shirley Felker , Ashland survives . Preceding him in death were three brothers: Robert, William and Louis Felker . Funeral Service will be held at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22nd, with Rev. Roger Snyder officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA. Visitation Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM. from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA .
