Doris L. Wetzel

Doris L. Wetzel, 56, of Front Royal, VA passed away Friday morning February 16, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville.

Born in Washington D.C. on June 14, 1967 she was the daughter of the late Shirley (O’Gara) and Robert Wetzel Sr.

Doris graduated from Langley High School-McLean VA in 1986.  She then worked for Equifax many years in administration.

Doris was of the Christian faith.

She was the husband of Sandro Cruz, they were married in 2019.

Doris enjoyed swimming and the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Bruce and a nephew Robbie.

She is survived by; siblings Robert Jr, Lori, Cheryl, Beth, Alison, & Brian; husband Sandro; daughter Briana Wetzel; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, & uncles.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday February 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to Noon at the Elysburg funeral home. A Christian service will be held at 12:00 noon from the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
