Dorothy M. (McGinn) Martin

Dorothy M. Martin, 83, of 1811 Market St. Ashland. passed away Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs,, PA. Born in Centralia, PA December 27, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Rooney) McGinn. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Ashland ; Washington Fire Company ladies auxiliary St Pauline's of VIsintainers. She graduated from Hubert Elcher High School in Centralia . Dorothy loved to play Bingo , never missing at St. Joseph's on Friday evening . She is survived by her husband of 63 years Robert Martin, Ashland , PA One daughter three sons survive : Kathryn wife of James Miller of Mt. Carmel,PA. Robert husband of Gayle Martin of Lehighton, PA., Daniel husband of Pam Martin of Ashland, PA., David husband of Elizabeth Martin of Balcamp, Md.. Three brothers - two sisters preceded her in death: William, John Raymond McGinn; Katherine Adams and Margaret Smith Eleven grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren survive Nieces Nephews . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Joseph's Church, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 1st, with Rev. John W. Bambrick officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA. Viewing Friday 6:00-8:00 PM. at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home and Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM from the Funeral Home .
