Edward “Eddie” O’Donnell III

Edward “Eddie” O’Donnell III, 40, of Ashland passed away Tuesday evening February 6, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East.

Born in Danville on August 27, 1983 he was the son of Edward J. O’Donnell Jr. and the late Mary Beth (Courtnye) O’Donnell.

Eddie was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Ashland. He graduated from Cardinal Brennan High School in 2002 and Schuylkill Institute of Business & Technology.

He was last employed as a computer analyst for Geisinger.  In addition to being a black belt in karate, Eddie enjoyed collecting coins and playing piano.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by; uncle Shawn O’Donnell; aunt Kathleen Campomizzi RN; maternal grandparents James & Elizabeth Courtnye; paternal grandfather Edward J. O’Donnell Sr.  

Eddie is survived by; father Edward J. O’Donnell Jr.(Hawa), Ashland; paternal grandmother Ruth Ann O’Donnell, Frackville; sister Kayla O’Donnell (Andrew Hubler), Ashland; nieces Kiara Lutz and Sophia Hubler; aunts, uncles & cousins.
