Edward Sulick, 83, of Aristes passed away at Geisinger Medical Center May 13, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.   He was born April 16,1940, in Diamond Town, PA, the son of Mary (Halcovich) and Paul Sulick. 

Ed graduated from Mount Carmel Catholic High in 1959 and attended the Conyngham Township School until the schools were reorganized.He was active in high school basketball and baseball. Following high school, he served in the US Army and served in Vietnam War. He then married his love Wilma George, and they were married for more than 50 years. He followed his dream to build his own home with his wife in Aristes.

Ed was family-oriented man and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. If not in his garage, yard, or at the Aristes Fire Company,you could always find him outside doing something. He worked for many years at Lapinski Lumber in Mount Carmel, before working for Columbia Building Supply. Later in life he worked at Knoebels catering picnics and the peanut shack and enjoyed all the people. He was an active citizen in his community and township his entire life.  Ed had great joy being active in the community and helping people. He was a life member and very dedicated to the Aristes Fire Company. He served as fire chief and lifetime member to both Wilburton #1 and #2 fire companies.  He was a member of American Legion Post 608 for 57 years and received a citation from the Pennsylvania House ofRepresentatives and American Legion Acknowledgement. He received several other service honors and acknowledgements in the community. 

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Sulick II, and sister-in-law Bernice Sulick, brother-in-law, Ralph Owens, mother-in-law Mary George, father-in-law Wilmer George, brother-in-law Ronald Geoge.  

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Sulick, daughter, Tonia Sulick-Bell, and husband Kent Bell (Las Vegas), Sister, Patrcia Owens (Wilburton), brother-in-law, Karl George, and sister-in-law, Sylvia (Aristes), sister-In-law, Joyce George (Marion Heights) Step-Grand Children Kyle Bell (Las Vegas), Clarissa Sierra Huntington and husband Cameron (Las Vegas) and Great Grandchild, Jameson Huntington,  his service dogs, Barley and Charley,  Several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.  

A celebration of life will be held at the discretion of the family.
