Frank Chukoskie

Frank Chukoskie, 80, of Ashland (Germansville) passed away Tuesday evening September 3, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East in Pottsville.

Born in Danville on December 7, 1943 to the late Dorothy (Kieffer) and Francis Joseph Chukoskie, he was the husband of 54 years to Patricia Ann (Diatchenko) Chukoskie from Bellmawr, New Jersey.

A member of Butler Township High School’s class of 1960, Frank graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Mathematics after 4 years of service in the United States Air Force. He taught at North Schuylkill for many years and then Cardinal Brennan High School before retiring. Frank also coached girls basketball and boys baseball for many years at various levels.
 

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, as well as playing softball or watching any of his kids’ and grandkids’ chosen activities.   
 

Frank is survived by; wife Patricia “Pat” Chukoskie, Germanville; son Frank R. Chukoskie (Jean), Kempton; daughter Leanne Chukoskie (Jeff Coleman), Westborough MA; sister Darla Stefero (John), Morrisville; sister Judith “Judy” Lupino (Tony), Austin PA; 5 grandchildren Zachary, Cole, Joe, Will, & Emily; several nieces & nephews. 
 

Services will be private at the family’s request.
