George Fitzgerald Garnett

George Fitzgerald Garnett, 58, of Paxinos passed away Saturday morning at Geisinger-Danville. 

Born on September 19, 1964 he was the son of the late Sallie Jo (McCord) and Willie Garnett Sr.

He graduated from Evans High School-Georgia in 1983.  George was a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and Augusta Technical College where he earned a degree in respiratory therapy.

He most recently worked as a respiratory therapist for Columbia Ancillary Services in Bloomsburg. 

He was the loving husband of Adrianne D. (Monroe) Garnett, they were married August 15, 2002. 

George was of the Christian faith and attended LCBC Church in Bloomsburg.

George was an avid golfer. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Dorita Muray.

He is survived by; spouse Adrianne D. Garnett; daughter Gracey Garnett; brother Glenn McCord; brother Jerome Garnett; brother Willie Garnett Jr.; sister Ernestine Garnett; sister Allastine Garnett; many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Services will be held privately at George’s request.
