Geraldine L. Mervine

Geraldine L. Mervine, 93, of Ashland passed away Monday November 20th at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East.

Born in Gordon on August 7, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Lottie (Kukuk) and Fred Lucas.

She attended school in Gordon.  Geraldine worked in various local sewing factories as a seamstress for many years. 

Geraldine was the wife of the late Guy F. Mervine.

She attended Simpson United Methodist Church in Gordon and First United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Ashland.

Her favorite pastimes included cooking and baking.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by; sister Betty Mervine; sister Anna Marlow; sister Peggy Hubler; sister Barrie Neumeister; brother William Lucas; brother Robert Lucas; brother Frederick Lucas; brother Ronald Lucas.

Geraldine is survived by; sister Nancy Higgins, Pottsville; daughter Donna Wachhaus, Taylor; daughter Judy McGee, New Smyrna Beach FL; son Guy Mervine (Carol), Warminster; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be private at the family’s convenience.
