Harold L. Troup

Harold L. Troup, 74, of Fairground Road ,Lavelle,PA. passed away Monday, July 27th, 2009 at Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman, PA. Born in Hegins Twp. September 30,1934 he was the son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Smeltz) Troup . He was a member of Christ United Lutheran Church, Airport Road Ashland ; member of the Lavelle Fire Company and attended schools in Hegins Twp. Harold worked in local coal mines and operated heavy equipment until his retirement . Surviving are his wife Arlene (Eister) Troup, Pitman, PA One son : Len husband of Susan Troup of Valley View,PA. One Brother survives : Harvey Troup of Mabel,PA. Three grandchildren survive : Erin; Lisa; Brandon Troup . Funeral Services will be held at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 31st, with Rev. Robert Hoenich officiating. Interment in Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle, PA.
