Hattie B. (Bobynich) Pahira

Hattie B. Pahira, 91, passed away Monday, December 21st, 2009 at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah, PA Born in Woodland Heights, PA June 2, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Pauline (Kostryka) Bobynich. She was of the Catholic Faith; worked as a machine operator in local garment factories until her retirement . She was know throughout the area for her cooking and baking . Preceding her in death were two sisters Mary Bielarski and Anna Korenciecz . A brother survives: Harry Bobynich, Shippensburg,PA . Two nieces: Gail Krause, Pine Grove, PA Diane M. Spokus, State College,PA . A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 30,2009 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 11th Walnut Street, Ashland, PA . Rev. John Bambrick officiating. Interment in Greek Catholic Cemetery, Centralia, PA . Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA is in charge of arrangements.
