Irvin H. Tiley

Irvin H. Tiley Jr., 86, of 1314 Walnut St. Ashland. passed away Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs,, PA. Born in Ashland, PA April 19,1923 he was the son of the late Irvin and Anna Lane Tiley. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland ; attended Ashland High School and worked at Gould Pump Company in Ashland for 27 years until his retirement . Surviving are his wife Lois Pulfrich Tiley of Ashland Two daughters survive : Cheryl wife of John Denchak, Gordon, PA and Caryl wife of Kenneth Montgomery of Ashland . One brother survives : Nelson Tiley of Ashland . Preceding him in death were four brothers - one sister: Wilbur, Milne, Roy, Albert, Susanna . Two grandchildren survive: Jennifer wife of Brian Wetzel, Liverpool,PA Mark Montgomery and a great grandchild due in April . Nieces Nephews survive . Religious Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 2nd, with Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery Ft. Springs, PA. Visitation Friday 10:00-11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland, PA . Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North 9th St., Ashland, PA 17921.
