Jane Dando

Jane Dando, 61, of 319 McKnight Street, Gordon, PA passed away Monday, November 22nd, 2010 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs, PA. Born in Ashland August 20,1949 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Wanda (Jasiewicz) Dando. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Church,Gordon,PA . Graduated from North Schuylkill High School Class of 1967. She was a registered nurse working at the Danville State Hospital ; Pottsville Hospital ;Ashland State Hospital; and SCI Coal Twp. Shamokin, PA until retirement . She was a member of the Ashland Historical Society . Preceding her in death in addition to her parent's was a sister: Jean Foley in 2003 . Surviving are a son : Jeffery husband of Bridget Zimmerman, Shillington, PA Two brothers one sister survive: Diane Zamboni, Danville,PA; Thomas Dando of Gordon, PA and Ted Dando of Wyomissing, PA . Nana will be dearly missed by her three grandchildren Samson and twins Zoey Sydney. Nieces Nephews survive. Jane will always be remembered for giving of herself, care for others, and helping other people. May her soul rest in peace. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 27,2010 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1100 Walnut St. Ashland, PA . Rev. John Bambrick officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. Viewing Friday evening 6:00-9:00 P.M. from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland and Saturday 8:30-9:30 A.M. from the Funeral Home. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
