Jane Long, 94, of Ashland passed away early Friday morning November 1, 2024 at Shenandoah Senior Living Community surrounded by her family.

Born in Ashland on August 6, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Rosetta (Ermert) and Emerson Hughes.

Jane graduated from Ashland High School in 1948.

She was of the Lutheran faith and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ashland.

Jane was the wife of the late Clifford Long who passed away in 2006.

She was a homemaker for most of her life.  Jane enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, visiting neighbors and watching soap operas.

Jane was preceded in death by her 4 brothers; Emerson, Stanley, Leroy & John “Jack”.

She is survived by; daughter Rose Barkman (Nathan Hafer), Auburn; grandson William Dunleavy (Desiree), Shenandoah Heights; grandson Lee Dunleavy (Nikki), Girardville; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday November 8th at 11:00 Am at Brock Cemetery with Pastor Dana Beil officiating.
