John F. Meyers

John “Jack” F. Meyers, 87, of Ashland passed away Thursday February 29, 2024 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Ashland on June 7, 1936 he was the son of the late Mamie (Artman) and Joseph Meyers.

He graduated from Ashland High School in 1954.

Jack was the husband of Cynthia “Cindy” L. (Boehmer) Meyers, they were married since 1971.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ashland.

Jack honorably served in the US Air Force.

He worked as truck driver for Tri-State Envelope in Ashland for many years prior to retirement.

Jack was a member of American Legion Post 434-Ashland, Washington Fire Co. and Elks #384.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, air shows and aviation.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; brothers Joseph, Robert, James & Bill Meyers; sister Mary Lou Leininger; grandson Kendrick Klusman; grandson Seth Meyers.

Jack is survived by; spouse Cynthia “Cindy” Meyers, Ashland; daughter Michelle Klusman (Bernard Jr.), Lake Wynonah; son David Meyers (Tiffany), Girardville; son Christopher Meyers (Vanessa), Girardville; mother in law Shirley Boehmer, Mount Carmel; 9 grandchildren Karina, Kiara, Holden, Chase, Lane, Camdyn, Wyatt, Macie & Logan; many nieces & nephews.

Services and interment with military honors will be held privately.
