Katie K. Esch

Katie K. Esch, 88, of Dornsife passed away Saturday February 14, 2026 at home surrounded by family.

Born in Leola on October 20, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Lizzie and Jonas King.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Katie was a homemaker most of her life.

She was preceded in death by; husband Jacob Esch; 8 brothers Jacob, Amos, John, Jonas, Elam, Daniel, Benuel and Abner King; 1 sister Fannie Petersheim; grandchildren Jacob Esch, Benuel Zook Jr, Aaron Esch; daughter in law Verna Esch.

Katie is survived by; 9 children Naomi Smucker (David) of Dornsife; Elizabeth Stoltzfus (Elam R.) of Jersey Shore; Sylvia Zook (Benuel) of Beech Creek, Samuel Esch (Barbie) of Allenwood, Jonas Esch (Barbie) of Dornsife, Elam Esch (Mary) of Dornsife, Elam Esch (Mary) of Dornsife, Leroy Esch (Naomi) of Morgantown, Ephraim Esch (Martha) of Dornsife, Omar Esch (Sadie) of Dornsife; sister Elizabeth King (Sylvan) of Paradise; sister Emma Stoltzfus (Daniel) of Gordonville; sister Malinda Glick (Henry) of Leola; brother Leroy King (Naomi) of Gordonville; brother Christian King (Anna) of Lykens; 3nsister in laws Aarie King of Stroudsburg, Ruth King of Jersey Shore and Lena King of Millersburg; 80 grandchildren; 238 great grandchildren; 2 great great children; many nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services: 12:00 noon Monday, Februay 16, 2026 at 195 Hidden Acres Lane, Dornsife PA 17823 viewing there till the service.  Interment:  Zook’s Cemetery, Dornsife.
