Kirby W. Wolf, 73, of Sunbury passed away Saturday morning June 6, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Sunbury on October 1, 1952 he was the son of the late Naomi (Miller) and Henry Wolf.
Kirby was the husband of Elaine D. (Carl) Wolf. They were married since 1974.
Kirby graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1972. After high school he served in the Army.
He was of the Christian faith and was a member of God’s Missionary Church in Shamokin.
Kirby worked for Furmans Cannery / Furmano Foods for over 43 years serving in many roles. As a lifelong member of the NRA he enjoyed hunting, reloading and shooting. Kirby also liked fishing and trains.
Preceding him in death were sister Joann Wolf; sister Nancy Mantz; son in law Kenneth Rauch.
Kirby is survived by; spouse Elaine Wolf, Sunbury; son Dale Wolf (Tina), Paxinos; daughter Catherine Rauch, Montrose; sister Carol Foura, Northumberland; 5 grandchildren Cheyanne, Delroy, Estella, Joel and Samuel; many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elysburg funeral home. A viewing for family and friends will be at the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be at Northumberland Memorial Park following services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Kirby’s memory to Beulah Camp, 394 Airport Rd, Ashland PA 17921.
