Leon R. Concini, 72, of Elysburg, passed away Friday morning at home.
He was born on June 7, 1950 in Ashland and was the son of the late Yolanda (DePretis) and Leo Concini.
Leon graduated from Southern Columbia High School with the class of 1969.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Queen of Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg.
Leon was a farmer and truck driver. He worked on his family farm along with his sister and parents. He also worked at Clark’s Feed Mill, Kerris & Helfrick, Abraczinskas Nurseries, and was last employed at Scattered Acres.
Leon enjoyed farming, hunting, and bowling.
He is survived by his sister Josephine A. Concini, Elysburg and several cousins.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday February 2nd from 9:30-11:00 AM at Queen of Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St, Elysburg PA 17824. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in the church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow services at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
