Linda L. Kessler

Linda L. Kessler, 85, of Ashland (Lavelle) passed away Tuesday evening December 17th at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

Born on May 20, 1939 in Pittsburgh she was the daughter of the late Lucille (Lucas) and Gerry Flick.

She graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana.

Linda was the wife of the late Daniel W. Kessler who passed October 16, 2022.

Linda was a homemaker most of her life and devoted many years to her Christian ministry.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Pattersonville Congregation.

Linda is survived by; daughter Tamara “Tammy” Fetterolf (Greg), Lavelle; granddaughter Stephanie Downes (Ross), Raleigh NC; granddaughter Stacie Yocum (Matt), Parker CO; caregiver extraordinaire Lisa Weikel of Lavelle who was a dear friend and special person in her life; 2 great grandsons Matthew & Mason.

A memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday January 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses -Pattersonville Congregation, 349 Ringtown Blvd, Ringtown PA 17967.  Elder Terry Spalti will officiate and broadcast via Zoom. To join the memorial talk via Zoom please call 570-900-2948 for the log in information. Interment will be private at the Mount Carmel Cemetery at a later date.
