Margaret (Patten) Joyce

Margaret Joyce, 90, of Ashland, PA.passed away Saturday, February 6th, 2010 at , St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs, PA . Born in Pottsville, PA October 14, 1919 she was the daughter of the late William and Mayme (Rebuck) Patten. She was a member of St. Mauritius Church, Ashland , PA. Graduated from Ashland High School Class of 1937 and worked at the Ashland Knitting Mills, Ashland until her retirement . She was a Life Member of the V. F. W. Post Ladies Auxiliary in Ashland . She was preceded in death by her husband Marlin in 1958 . A son Joseph Joyce preceded her in death in 2006 . She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter in 1985 . Surviving are a daughter Judy wife of Scott Tesno, Ashland and a son Thomas husband of Betty Ann Joyce also of Ashland . Two sisters preceded her in death: Martha Davis and Alice Gable . Nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren survive Nieces Nephews . Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10,2010 at 11:00 AM in St. Mauritius Church, Ashland, PA with Rev. John W. Bambrick officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA . Visitation Wednesday 9:30 - 11:00 AM in St. Mauritius Church, Ashland, PA .
