Mark Boyer

Mark Steven Boyer, 67, of Minersville PA, died Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at home after a 12 year battle with cancer.

Born in Ashland, July 22, 1957, he was the son of the late Donald R and Mary Lou Boyer.  

Mark was a social butterfly and an avid fisherman.  He embraced a free-spirited bohemian lifestyle and enjoyed all things wild.   His joyful spirit was ever present in his love for, and vast collection of suncatcher’s. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his forever friends and family at Creekside Campground. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jason Boyer.

Mark is survived by his fiancé Rhoda E Wetzel; a daughter Jessica L Wallace (Bryon); two brothers John G. Boyer (Paula) and David R Boyer (Vikki); three sisters Dawn L Boyer, B. Beverly Schmalhofer (Joseph), and Roxanne Brandis (Scott); 3 granddaughters Brandy Speer, Marisa Seritsky & Kaylee Wallace; 1 great granddaughter Charlotte Schmidt.  Extended family include Stephanie Forte (Vince), Kari Wetzel, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be private at the family's request. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mark's memory to Hospice and Community Care at www.hospiceandcommunitycare.org.
