Nancy R. Baker

Nancy R. Baker, 68, of Sunbury passed away Monday morning December 11, 2023 at her home.

Born in Scranton on June 10, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Rose Marie (Decker) and George Buchanan.

Nancy graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1974.

She was the wife of Joseph E. Baker.

Nancy was of the Catholic faith.

She previously worked for Acoustic-Kleen Inc. in Sunbury.

Nancy enjoyed collecting angles and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother George Buchanan.

She is survived by; husband Joseph Baker, Sunbury; adopted daughters Kimberly, April & Tara Baker; sister Cathy Buchanan, Shamokin Dam; sister June Young, Northumberland; sister Mary Williard (Rick), Sunbury; sister Patricia Buchanan, Sunbury; brother James “Kelly” Buchanan (Sharon), Sunbury; sister Theresa Garvey, Danville; sister Liz Lewis (Jeff), Sunbury; 7 grandchidren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

Services will be private at the family’s request.
