Phillip "Joe" Karp

Phillip “Joe” Karp, 75, of Mount Carmel passed away Saturday evening September 2nd in Mount Carmel.

Born in Trenton NJ on September 22, 1947 he was the son of the late Mary Karp and Charles Chichillo.

Joe attended high school in New Jersey.  He last worked as a cab driver.

He was of the Christian faith.

Joe was the longtime companion of the late Jean “Lorraine” Konopacki.

He is also preceded in death by his sister Emily Melilo.

He is survived by; son Jeffrey Konopacki, Mount Carmel; son Joseph Konopacki, NJ; brothers Eddie and Henry Horning; sister Marion Miller-Blodgett; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 21st at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.   Interment will be held privately.
