Phyllis (Sell) Hornung

Phyllis Hornung, 83, of 102 South 2nd Street Ashland. passed away Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Ft. Springs, PA . Born in Lavelle, PA August 11,1927 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Eister) Sell. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Congregational Church in Lavelle. She attended Butler Twp. High School; was a Life Member of the Washington Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Ashland; a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Ashland Post . She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Hornung in 1970. Preceding her in death were two sisters: Arlene Mallams Shirley Burns. Surviving are a son Edward Hornung of Ashland,PA. And a Brother: Ralph Sell of Roselyn,PA. Four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren ; nieces nephews survive. Funeral services in Christ Evangelical Church, Lavelle,PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 11th, with Rev. Michael Eck officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family in Brock Cemetery, Ashland, PA. Viewing Thursday 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. in Christ E.C.Church, Lavelle, PA .
