Robert J. Noon

Raymond J. Noon, 80, of 1116 Pine Street Ashland. passed away Thursday, January 14th, 2010 at his residence . Born in Ashland, PA February 21, 1929 he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Gallagher) Noon. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He owned and operated Ontime Coffee Services in the Philadelphia Area until his retirement . He was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church in Phila.. He was also district manager for ARA food services for 20 years . He was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth (Gorman) in 1996 and his second wife Claire Stoddard Noon in 2009. Three sons preceded him in death: Thomas, Joseph Stephen Noon Two brothers, one sister preceded him in death: Charles, Robert Dorothy Noon . Surviving are two daughters: Barbara Jakus, Philadelphia, PA and Cecelia Albanse of Georgia . Three sisters, two brothers survive: Betty Bartholomew; Phila..,PA; Louise Brogan, Phila..,PA; Delores Mulcahy, Cape May,NJ; Gerald Noon and James Noon both of Phila..,PA Ten grandchildren Nieces Nephews survive Visitation Sunday, Jan. 17,2010 6:00-8:00 P.M. from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home , Ashland, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helena Catholic Church, Philadelphia, PA, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 19th, . Interment at New Cathedral Cemetery, Phila.,PA.
