Robert E. Knorr

Robert "Bob" Knorr, 95, of Elysburg passed away Wednesday morning at his residence.

Born in Berwick he was the son of the late Harriet (Hill) and Ernest Knorr.

Bob graduated from Berwick High School Class of 1944. He later attended Penn State.

He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.

Bob worked for ACF, Claster Lumber, and lastly Grossman's as an engineering draftsman before transitioning to regional management roles in his career.

He was a member of Elysburg United Methodist Church. He previously attended Watsontown Methodist Church where he was a Lay Leader and Director of Methodist Men.

He was the husband of the late Eva (Hall) Knorr who passed in 2019.

Bob enjoyed hunting, blackpowder, and traveling in his RV .

In addition to his late spouse Eva, he was preceded in death by; first spouse Marjorie (Farver) Knorr; daughter Kathy Jane Forsythe; brother George Knorr; brother William Knorr.

He is survived by; son Robert Stevens, Greenwood SC; daughter Brenda Lucha (Dan), Temecula CA; grandson Philip John "PJ" Gilchrist (Dieja), Temecula CA; 2 great grandchildren Kassidy & Kameron; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 31st from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow services at Roselawn Cemetery in Berwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Elysburg United Methodist Church, 171 W Center St, Elysburg PA 17824.
