Rosolino Mangiapane
Rosolino Mangiapane, 77, of Mount Carmel, passed away Wednesday at his home.
Born in Cinisi, Italy on July 21, 1945 he was the son of the late Santa Bartolotta and Pietro Mangiapane.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Rosolino attended school in Italy.
He also served in the Italian Army.
Rosolino worked as a mason and carpenter throughout his life.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Rosolino was preceded in death by his parents, spouse Concetta Amato and brother Rosolino.
He is survived by; son Antonio Mangiapane (Giovanna), Mount Carmel; son Pietro Mangiapane (Caterina), Mifflinburg; 5 grandchildren Rosolino, Daniela, Valeria, Miriana & Martina; 2 great grandchildren Denise & Nick Jr.; 1 brother & 5 sisters in Italy; several in-laws, nephews, cousins.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 12th from 9:30-11 AM at the funeral home. A service will be held at 11 AM in the funeral home with Fr. Frank Karwacki officiating. Burial will take place at Cimitero Comunale di Carini, Italy. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Rosolino’s memory to the funeral home to help defray the costs associated with his return to his homeland in Italy.
