Ryan A. Sponenberg, 32, of Catawissa passed away Wednesday, May 31st at Geisinger-Danville.
Born on February 26, 1991 in Lebanon he was the son of Cindy Wheary and Michael L. Sponenberg.
He attended school in the Lebanon area.
Ryan previously worked as a forklift operator and last worked at Dunkin Donuts in Shamokin.
He was a member of Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints in Northumberland.
Ryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, playing guitar, drums, and violin. He was most proud of his 3 sons who he adored.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Helen Howard & Robert Hower and aunt Donna Kurtz.
Ryan is survived by; 3 sons Sheldon, Silas & Ollie along with their mother Rose, TN; father Michael L. Sponenberg (Trisha), Coal Township; mother Cindy Wheary (Ray), Catawissa; grandparents Beatrice Bordner & John Sponenberg; sister Natalie Sponenberg (Ivette), Shamokin; brother Jordan Bugg, Harrisburg; sister Melinda Mastrosimone (Leann), Shamokin; sister Tonya Sponenberg (Ray), Lebanon; sister Michelle Mogica (Art), Lebanon; sister Kelly Lebo (Leroy), Shamokin; step brother Evan Jamison (Christina), Shamokin; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, June 8th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.
