Sheryl Lee Halcovich

Sheryl Lee Halcovich, 73, of Mount Carmel passed away Sunday morning February 8, 2026 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Shamokin on December 19, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Confair) and Harvey Wolfgang.

Sheryl was of the Protestant faith and previously attended Grace United Church of Christ in Mount Carmel.

She attended Mount Carmel Area High School and worked most of her career as a seamstress in several local factories over the years including Dee Fashions in Centralia.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Halcovich Jr in 1989 and brother Harvey Wolfgang.

Surviving are her significant other Ronald P. Schoppy and his daughter Rhonda Ann Zagata, both of Mount Carmel; grandchildren & great grandchildren Justin, Desirae, Zachary, Jereome & Julian.

Services and interment at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury will be held privately at Sheryl’s request.
