Suzanne 'Sue' (Ennis) Smith

Suzanne Smith, 52, of 1739 Center St. Ashland. passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2009 unexpectedly at her residence. Born in Ashland, PA March 20, 1957 she was the daughter of William and Patricia (Klinger) Ennis of Ashland . Her grandmother survives: Mary Jane Lute of Norristown. She Graduated from Cardinal Brennan High School Class of 1975 and was of the Catholic Faith. She was presently employed at the Pioneer Tunnel as a secretary where she worked for 15 years . Sue married  her high school sweetheart, Howard, and always said he was the love of her life and her soulmate.  She adored her six grandchildren and spent a happy weekend at the beach with her family only two weeks before she passed away.  Her family came first in all aspects of her life.  Her most favorite time of year was Christmas,  and she took great joy in buying gifts for her family and friends and decorating her home.  She also loved her two dogs, Sophy and Molly.  Those who knew Sue will always remember her for her wonderful sense of humor. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 34 years Howard Smith of Ashland. Two daughters, one son survive : Howard husband of Christina Smith of Ashland ; Dawn wife of Shawn Reed, Kulpmont, PA ; Cortney Smith, Mt. Carmel Daughter(s): Dawn Reed of Kulpmont, PA. Two brothers survive: Stephen husband of Robin Ennis of Gordon,PA., William husband of Deany Ennis of Wilberton,PA. Six grandchildren survive: Noah, Cody, Ireland, Anthony, Maddox, Brady. Funeral Service will be held at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1st, with Rev. Rose Marquardt officiating. Interment in Brock Cemetery, Ashland, PA. Viewing Wednesday 6:00-8:00 P.M. from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home and Thursday 10:00-11:00 AM from the Funeral Home. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Ashland, PA is in charge of arrangements.
