Theresa J. Mock, 74, of Ashland passed away Saturday April 5th at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville.

Born on June 22, 1950 in Centralia she was the daughter of the late Stella (Timko) and Joseph Sabo. 

Theresa was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo in Ashland.

Theresa graduated from Ashland High School in 1968.

She was the wife of the late Daniel H. Mock who passed away March 6, 2005.

Theresa was a homemaker but also worked as a caretaker over the years.

She was a former member of the Ashland VFW Post 7654 Ladies Auxiliary.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her children and family, but most of all loving on her grandchildren. She loved to travel and dance and did it extremely well.  Making others laugh was her true gift, even when she was ill and in pain. 

In addition to her spouse, she was preceded in death by; sister Catherine Tanney; father-in-law Daniel T. Mock; mother-in-law Dorothy Mock; brother-in-law William Mock. 

Theresa is survived by; son Daniel J. Mock, Ashland; son Charles Mock (wife Natalie), Frackville; son Joseph Mock, Philadelphia; sister Stella Starkoski, Carlisle; sister Maryann Kurpilis (brother-in-law Frank), Brandonville; sister Pauline Billus (brother-in-law Joe), Ashland; sister Irene Zaharick (brother-in-law Joe), Mount Carmel; grandchildren Sora & Connor Mock; and many nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Mass of Catholic Faith will be held on Thursday April 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Charles of Borromeo Church, 1115 Walnut St, Ashland PA 17921.  A viewing for family & friends will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday morning in church prior to mass. Interment will be private.
