Theresa Williams

Theresa Williams, 75, of Ashland passed away Wednesday morning February 25, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East.

Born at the Ashland State Hospital on April 14, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Helen (Kohan) and Michael Chrin.

She was of the Lutheran faith and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ashland.

Theresa graduated from North Schuylkill High School in 1968 and from the Schuylkill Technology Center, Licensed Practical Nurse Program.

For over 52 years was the wife of George H. Williams, they were married August 11, 1973.

Theresa became a LPN in 1970 and worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville.  She also worked for Payne’s Flowers for many years prior to her retirement.

Theresa enjoyed going out on day trips, vacations to Atlantic City, going to the movies, attending Penn State football games at State College and tailgating at Bloomsburg University football games to watch her 2 great nephews play football.   Theresa was especially fond of her granddaughter Paige whom she greatly adored.

In addition her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Ann Gower.

Surviving are her husband George H. Williams, Ashland; daughter Lori T. Hess (Peter), Tamaqua; granddaughter Paige Hess; sister Helen DeLuca (Philip), Girardville; brother Michael Chrin, Frackville; several nieces & nephews.

A viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday March 1st from 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Services will follow Monday morning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Christ Church Cemetery in Fountain Springs.
