Walter 'Doc' Clark

Walter Doc Clark, 90, formerly of Gordon,PA died Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 in Clarks Road, Ralpho Twp., PA at the home of his nephew . Born in Ralpho Twp., PA September 11, 1918 he was the son of the late William and Martha ( Erdman ) Clark. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gordon . Was a Forest Fire Warden for over 45 years . He worked for many years as a miner, worked for the Reading Railroad and later in construction . He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine (Geiser) Clark in 1996 . Preceding him in death were seven brothers and sisters. Surviving are his nephew David Berkheiser and Diane whom he resided with and have been his caregivers for three years . Nieces Nephews survive . Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home in Ashland . Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA .
