Wayne Schwartz

Wayne Schwartz, 88, of Phoebe-Berks Village, Wernersville,PA. passed away Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 at Phoebe-Berks Village, Wernersville, PA Born in Hegins, PA August 4, 1921 he was the son of the late Floyd and Katie (Ely) Swartz. He graduated from Ashland High School and worked in management for General Motors until his retirement . He also worked for Stief's Hardware, Ashland for 13 years. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge of Accepted Free Masons. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War I I . He is survived by his wife of 65 years June (Rubright) Schwartz of Wernersville, PA Two brothers - one sister preceded him in death: William and LeRoy Swartz and Elsie Morgan. Nieces and Nephews survive . Religious Service will be held from the Phoebe-Berks Village Chapel, Wernersville,PA, at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 11th, 2009. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Ft. Springs, PA.
